Greetings readers!
I’ve been in a creative blog slump as of late because I’ve been busy enjoying my reading and doing other things. Not to mention some big things I’m preparing for a certain celebratory month that is coming up soon (more on that later!)
I found this tag on Kaya @ A Fictional Bookworm’s blog! I had so much fun reading through her answers that I decided to have a go at it myself!
Would you rather only read ebooks or audiobooks?
Would you rather kiss the villain of your favorite book/series or hurt your favorite character?
Hmmm my favourite series is The Lunar Chronicles. Would I kiss Levana or hurt Thorne?? I think I’d hurt Thorne for the sole reason that after kissing Levana she’d then manipulate me into hurting my babies. I’ll just hurt my husband instead, I believe he can bounce back XD
Would you rather read all the books you want every single month but barely remember the plot or read 2 books a month but remember everything about them?
I love rereading and I need to get a head of my TBR so I am definitely going with option one! Read everything but barely remember anything. (If I am being honest, this is not too far from my truth right now 😉
Would you rather read a book you love while listening to an album you hate or read a book you hate while listening to an album you love?
Book I love with an album I hate. I am very adept at tuning out music when I am reading so you can play whatever you want I will be absorbed into my pages!
Would you rather be able to go to your favorite fantasy world but no one can see you or go to a fantasy world you hate but everyone can see you?
Is there a fantasy world I hate? I think not, well there is the ToG universe. Yeah I’d go to the ToG universe just to be a troll and drag Aelin and Rowan through the mud. I’m that petty.
Would you rather only read historical fiction novels or sci-fi?
Sci-Fi! Historical fiction can be boring for me sometimes and I’d rather spend time exploring the future! Plus TLC is set in the future so!!!! We’re going on a trip in our favourite rocket ship!
Would you rather only read the books but never watch the movie/TV show adaptations or only watch the adaptations but never read the books?
I’d only read the book! (This is hard because Narnia is my favourite movie!!) But yes, I can live without adaptations and stick to the richness and wholeness that is the book!
Would you rather only read backlist titles or new releases?
The iconic Kaya said: “Backlist titles! Because, I mean, every new release becomes a backlist title at some point right???” And I wholeheartedly agree!!!
Would you rather only read standalones or series?
Series! I love a good standalone, but I LOVE series. (This is also hard for me because my favourite author Silvia Moreno-Garcia only writes standalones!) But I’d still go with series! I love exploring worlds and spending lots of time with characters!
Would you rather always being able to guess the twist, or never being able to guess the twist?
Never guess the twist! I mean I love being smart and figuring stuff out, but I love being shocked more! I love being utterly and completely perplexed by the author’s ingenuity and brilliance! I love surprise twists!
And done! That was lots of fun! I mean I am very glad I actually don’t have to choose and live by these options! My reading experience would be very different otherwise! I tag anyone who wants to have a go at this!
